Headless Horseman

Well here it is! I ended up flipping the image, I felt that it looked a little better this way. I struggled with the colors a bit but I think I’m finally happy with it. I really learned a lot during this painting. At least it was less of a guessing game this time, as I feel like I’m getting a better grasp on color temperature and value. Thanks for looking, time to start on the next one!

Headless Horseman WIP

Figured I would display some holiday spirit! After watching Sleepy Hallow the other night I imagined the Headless Horseman just chillin in the woods carving himself out a bad ass jack o’ lantern to wear this year. This is how I imagined it. I still have a lot of cleaning up and detail work to do, but here is what I came up with yesterday. Hopefully I’ll get this guy done by tonight, enjoy!

All you need Faith Trust and a little bit of Pixie Dust

These were done for the 24th annual Community Hospital Gala invitation. The proceeds were dedicated to the implementation of a new Brachytheropy program at Grand Valley Oncology. It was great to be a part of this, and I really enjoyed creating the artwork for them.
