All you need Faith Trust and a little bit of Pixie Dust

These were done for the 24th annual Community Hospital Gala invitation. The proceeds were dedicated to the implementation of a new Brachytheropy program at Grand Valley Oncology. It was great to be a part of this, and I really enjoyed creating the artwork for them.

Fantasy Scroll Cover Art

My ‘Dark Monk’ painting was featured on the cover of this months Fantasy Scroll e-mag. This is the second cover that Iulian Ionescu (Editorand chief of Fantasy Scroll) has been kind enough to let me be a part of. If you have any interest in fantasy and/or science fiction stories take some time and subscribe to this great resource that is sure to fulfill your fantasy needs. I’ve attached a link below, and as always, thanks for looking, and keep inspiring!

Superhero Memoirs

This is my latest published book cover design. I used a different style than usual, but I really like the outcome, and it was really fun to create. I’ve attached the original image and the final result. The diner scene was intended to be the back cover, but the decision was made to flip the back cover to the front. Let me know what you think of it!

Atacama Cover

This is the second published book cover that I completed for Luthando Coeur (Zharmae). It took a while to create a concept that both the author and publisher agreed on, but ended up coming together nicely. I was proud of this one, but now all I see when I look at it is all of the mistakes I made and things I could have done better. This is common though, I am always growing as an artist. It seems to me that every painting I finish is better than the last, thank god, at least I’m steadily improving. (At least in my own little world, lol.)

Mystery of Farholt Cover

This was my first published book cover. Words cant explain how excited I was to get a copy in the mail. I thought to myself “It’s all downhill from here, Im a published artist, and the jobs will be flooding my way!”. The book is great, well written, and I get to be a part of it.  But to my surprise nothing really changed. There were no calls from Blizzard or Marvel telling me about how much they loved my work and wanted to employ me. My wallet wasn’t any heavier either. This was just another step down the million mile long path to being a succesful artist.
